Shipping Policy
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Custom tuning packages and special-order items may require additional lead time — we will contact you directly if there is any delay.
Shipping Destinations
- Canada: We ship to all provinces and territories via Canada Post and courier services (UPS, FedEx, Purolator).
- United States: US shipping is available for most in-stock parts. Import duties, brokerage fees, and applicable taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
- International: Contact us for international shipping availability and rates.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. Free shipping may be offered on qualifying orders — see current promotions at checkout.
Tracking & Delivery
A tracking number will be provided by email once your order ships. Estimated transit times vary by carrier and destination. THE LAB is not responsible for carrier delays once the package has been tendered to the shipping provider.
Local Pickup
Local pickup is available at 10219 95 Ave, Fort St. John, BC V1J 5J5. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout and we will contact you to arrange a time. View on map →
Returns & Exchanges
Eligibility
We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions below:
- Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order number) required.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items that have been installed or show signs of use.
- Custom-ordered or special-order components.
- Tuning files, EZ LYNK AutoAgent devices once activated.
- Software licenses, unlock credits, or digital goods.
- Items marked "Final Sale."
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 5 business days of delivery at our contact page. Include photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is issued.
Off-Road & Performance Parts Disclaimer
Many products sold by THE LAB — including EGR delete kits, DPF delete kits, exhaust systems, and related components — are sold for off-road and sanctioned competition use only. These products are not legal for use on public roads or streets in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. The purchaser assumes full legal responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable emissions regulations.
THE LAB does not warrant that any emissions-related performance product complies with the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, the US Clean Air Act, or provincial/state emissions standards. Installing these products on a street-registered vehicle may be illegal and could result in fines or loss of vehicle registration.
Warranty
Products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. THE LAB will assist in facilitating warranty claims with the manufacturer but does not provide an independent warranty beyond what is offered by the product manufacturer. Labour costs for installation or reinstallation are not covered under any warranty claim.
