Last updated: June 2026 · Governed by British Columbia, Canada law
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the THE LAB website (thelab.ca) or purchasing any products or services from THE LAB, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or place any orders.
2. About THE LAB
THE LAB operates as a dual-identity business in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada, providing two distinct services:
- The Boutique — Vehicle detailing, ceramic coatings, window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and aesthetic upgrades.
- The Parts Store — Diesel performance parts, aftermarket components, and custom tuning services.
3. Products & Services
Detailing & Aesthetic Services
Quotes for in-shop or mobile detailing services are estimates only. Final pricing may vary based on vehicle condition, size, and complexity. All work is performed by trained technicians. THE LAB is not responsible for pre-existing damage discovered during a service appointment. Customers are advised to document pre-existing damage before drop-off.
Performance Parts
Parts are sold as described. While we make every effort to ensure fitment guides are accurate, it is the buyer's responsibility to verify compatibility with their specific vehicle before ordering. THE LAB is not liable for labour costs associated with an incorrect parts order.
Custom Tuning
Custom tuning services are performed by certified or experienced technicians. Results vary by vehicle condition, modifications, and platform. Tuning files and data are the intellectual property of the tuner or platform provider (EZ LYNK, HP Tuners, AMDP). No refunds are provided on completed tuning sessions unless a verifiable error was made by THE LAB.
4. Off-Road & Emissions Compliance Disclaimer
IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY: Certain products sold by THE LAB, including EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) delete kits, DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) delete systems, exhaust modifications, and related emissions-altering components, are sold exclusively for:
- Off-road use on private property.

- Agricultural or industrial equipment not subject to on-road emissions regulations.
These products are not legal for use on publicly registered, street-driven vehicles in Canada, the United States, or any other jurisdiction that enforces emissions standards.
